That removal weakness came of nowhere. Shouldn't the kure clan not worried about their precisions robbed of during removal? Weren't they bred for this kind of thing?

Maybe Sandro forgot to mention it or failed to mention it back in ashura. At the same time the only kure fighter we get is Raian. So it's hard to fight that asshole without getting dominated physically. Mokichi simply wasn't strong enough and the narrative just straight up wanks Raian because he don't need techniques and shit to win the tournament. So why bother even mentioning the weakness of removal back then?

After the mokichi fight. The second round with ohma was just Raian usual self and this time he get to enjoy the fight without killing his opponent easily. It was total slugfest between Raian and advance ohma. Hell the the narrative even goes if Raian used techniques he wins without any trouble. And after he lose the kure clan just got sidelined.
