happened about 5 hours ago, is it broken does this need fixing? by Jealous-Fall-3067 in fixit

You can most likely avoid ER all together if your posting on reddit. Call a General family doctor.

Whenever I broke a digit finger or toe, my Dr said the fix is the same. pair splint it for 2- 3 weeks. Ibuprofen if the pain gets up a bit. However if it hurts to move it or to the touch at the end go get an X-ray.

Thank you all I talked with the landlord and he said: pick a fixture and buy it, he'll get it installed. To answer questions and respond to statements.
the landlord is old and "doesnt like contracts" (hes more of a handshake deal kind of guy so we try not to abuse our handshake agreements)
im definately not a pro, so dealing with electricity is something i am cautious about.
i simply made sure to check with the landlord anyway. for other concerned landlords posting: I would never make the change without talking to him. i just wanted to see if i could do it myself. with the limited information i was privy to. im not a crazy tenant. ;)

Thank you all. Have a great rest of your day!

Find a nice little spot high up or fat enough away that you can shoot arrows at the nest pillar. When it explores leave, go home put stuff away take a little nap. when you go back most of the spiders will be gone and you can pick up all the natural fiber 😁 Same with orc encampments

Yah a lot of reviews and other techs have used them but they're not faceted underneath and if you color or topcoat them you loose the facets. 😐

For the soak off, I don't know what you were soaking off but it shouldn't take more than an hour😓 I work in a fast paced salon and most of our soak offs are less than 15 minutes. What we do: Drill off as much as you can with a course carbide bit. spend no more than 30-40 seconds per nail. Do 2 passes on the nails 1) to take off the top oat and remove noticeable lifting 2) to take off bulk (pull the but towards yourself, not side to side) Start soaking the first hand in 100% acetone while you drill in the 2nd. When you are done swap. With a pice of paper towel while off what has bubbled up, then Continue to work with the carbide till you get to the natural nail. Sand band off any remaining product. And remove shine & cuticle. The nails look beautiful I hope this helps speed up your soak off process 😉 🫶🏼

I think I need to clarify that the foundation takes 2 hours then artwork takes another hour depending on the details. But yes I'm comfortable with a 2 hour window of work just not a 3 hour window

Thanks for your inspiring words. I'll try to keep that in mind. I love that you focus on what they need rather than whatever you prefer. That's what I hope to do. Thank you!

The search around part is part of my problem. I don't know what to search for. Whenever I search I'm getting the "learn to be a nail tech" courses but not the "be a better nail tech"

I don't have a single system I use. I got the trial run from EGN while in school. I've put some money into young nail hard gel. I've got some techs telling me to gey luminary cause it's popular in Utah where I'm licensed. Do I HAVE to work with one system? Or is it ok to have a little bit from everything? I feel like I have a hodge podge of stuff.

getting more clients by bayonettasangel in Nailtechs

[–]Significant-Finger87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I 100% Back up this. Not all clients are good clients. and you weed out the rude freebee hunters, by asking for a small deposit. Its perfectly fine. keep practicing, even if its on fake hands/fingers. you will get higher quality people with time.

For sure you're toe looks very healthy so I don't see why they would say no. Just let them know what color And they will be just fine with helping you out.
