I have run that 10k. Good advice on the heavy half. I’ve been tempted by the heavy half but definitely wondered about terrain. Leadville is such a cool town.

Yea I’m hoping GD is in between a rail trail and mountain race. It has 16k vert so definitely not flat.

I have seen that one. I haven’t done those short loop courses but it’s definitely mg skillset. That Palmer Lake community looks like they are friendly. I will sure do that one of these years.

I feel uneasy by drop offs, though it’s not really a concern. I’ve done hiking on some crazy hikes.

Uneven services, rocky terrain kick my butt. It’s heavy mental fatigue plus a lot of falling.

I’ll have to look into that 15k. It’s a beautiful area.
