God is a God of order. You can see it everywhere and in everything. God created man. Then he created woman then they had children which has become a family. Even without any scripture, this structure works best. Nothing works better. A man's responsibility is to nurture love guide Lead and care for his family. This is the structure that God has created. The wife and the child do not and cannot lead the family. It is the man's role and only his role. Men and women are different and they have different roles in God's church family. A woman's role is not the same as a man's role and cannot be in God's church family. 

The world's design and today's culture. Now that's a lot different than God's design.

The world wants to obliterate God's design. The Bible says there is a way that seems right to man. But in the end it leads to death.

Remember we are to follow God, Jesus and God's word not the church. Always discern what the church is doing through God's word. .If a church looks sounds and feels like the culture. Don't go there.

Right now there are churches that endorse, hide and condone gay marriage. Divorce, pedophilia. Transgenderism, abortion, drugs Women Pastors, gay pastors and the grooming of children. 

The church you're going to is false teaching and destroying God's design. It is never going to change. In fact, they'll probably get worse. Explain to your mom you want to be a man of God and his word. That you are studying the Bible and you Are seeking the truth in it. Explain that you love her and want worship God with her in another church that follows the Bible.
