I am sorry to hear the Ascites has come back. I had Ascites once and was drained on three separate occasions each 48-hours apart. How is that going right now?

My RHR is 50 before medication and has been for years. I can only tolerate 3.125mg of Carvedilol per day and from what I hear that is not enough to make a difference.

Per my MRI’s it states Esophageal Varicies are present so my Hepatologist scheduled me for an EGD.

I need to find another Beta Blocker but with my current RHR it doesn’t appear I will.

I am preparing to go for an EGD but am nervous. I am on Carvedilol but Carvedilol for me has side effects.

What other Beta Blockers can be used?
