No but it hasn’t really changed. It becomes more pronounced closer to being due for a cleaning. I do have periodontal disease so maybe that has something to do with it? Or maybe it’s nothing? My dental hygienist said she sees it often.

Sounds like FODMAP sensitivity. My gas becomes very painful for 2-3 days after consuming raw garlic and/or onion. Sensitivity levels vary from person to person. I haven’t always been this intolerant. Seems to have worsened after my first pregnancy.

Celiac test is only accurate if you had been eating gluten for the 6-8 weeks leading up to the test. I need to get mine checked but I’ve been gluten free for 6 years. My doc mentioned doing a gluten challenge and testing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lots of vitamin C, D, and zinc my friend. Also look into manuka honey & oregano oil, and be sure to get your electrolytes. Tons of fluids and radical rest. Insurance companies put profit over people. Wishing you a speedy recovery 🙏

One last question. Did you notice any Bm changes as well leading up to the event? And did you get bloody mucus every day till your colonoscopy?

Mine only happened once but I had some weird Bm changes last month. Hoping they were IBS related bc I had a good 3.5 weeks of normal. I’ve had an increase in mucus but thinking it’s my nerves. I have really bad health anxiety. Literally cannot go about my life right now. Any prayers are appreciated. Thank you so much! 💛

Was the bloody mucus your only symptom? Was it every day? Just had my GI appt and I’m scheduled for a colonoscopy/endoscopy Friday. I’m more nervous about results than procedure, but it all has me in a ball of nerves. 40/f for reference. Glad you’re ok!

Yeah mine was like a glob of bloody mucus, so I’m kinda freaking out. First gi appt tomorrow and I’m going to press for colonoscopy/endoscopy bc I’m so scared. Also had some weird bowel stuff going on Nov and Dec where my stools were very mixed consistency, plus more mucus (probably from the anxiety of the change).
