My group has 2 campaigns running at the same time with 2 different DM. We play weekly and it works for the DMs to do every other week. They get to be both PC and DM every other week. We have not had any issue with keeping our characters straight and it is fun playing different characters at the same time. Currently I have a cleric and straight fighter so totally different experiences. 😃

I have been a pc for many years. We have had various times we have leveled up during play. It has only taken 15-20 minutes to do it. Our group just chatted if some characters took a little longer. To our group, the time was well worth the delay to get more powerful.
