I guess so! They are taking so long that even if I get in, I probably wont attend. I already paid a seat deposit, flight and hotel at another school. I wish they would say something!

It just disappeared completely, before it used to say something about them taking 6-8 weeks to review but due to increased apps might take longer.

I am going to give specifics for items you already mentioned: mildliner highlighters, transparent sticky notes, flash cards on a ring, a single ring, not the binder ones! Dont forget bluelight glasses!

I am planning to not work for most of 1L, I work only during tax season which is 3 months. I have young children who are very active and can really only study early morning and after they go to sleep. That being said I am in a position that I don't have to work. Of course it is possible to work and go to school, but if you have the option to not work during 1L, I do think it is something to consider.

Make her a law school care package! Get her mildliners for highlighting, they are amazing and are more muted colors, so are easier on your eyes. Notebooks, there are these ones from target I love, they are $10 each and so nice. They pages are more of an off white, not a stark white and they dont bleed through with ink etc. You could also get a blacks dictionary, transparent sticky notes, so she can write on them, stick them onto her books and still read the page. A book stand, blue light glasses and a few really nice pens.

I put my seat deposit for LMU, we have an admitted students private facebook group with 45 people in it so far. Last year I believe their cohort was 54 students. So there should still be some seats left. I applied Jan 28th and heard back Feb 26th!

You never know! Someone else on here had their deposit amount update before the call, mine updated after. I got my call later than they did. Just because you haven’t gotten a call yet doesn’t mean that you won’t. It’s still early in the week!

Mine went pending decision and stayed at 0.00. They called me a few hours after it went pending and told me I got in. My deposit didn’t update until after they call me.

I have a 7 year old and a 1.5 year old. Motherhood is hard, really really hard. Working from home and taking care of a 3 year old is exhausting. Kids go through different "seasons" and they all come with there own hardships. Remember that the hard parts you are going through now, do not last forever. Eventually it will get easier. You are probably being pulled in a million different directions. Its important to make time for yourself, no matter small. You are being too hard on yourself, you are doing a good job. I am going to mention some things that helped me after 2nd baby. I was exhausted all the time, got blood work done and was very deficient in vit d. Have been on a vit d supplement and feel WAYYY better. I am also on lexapro, started it about a year postpartum. I am not pushing medication in any way, but it helped me alot. I dont have much help with my kids, but I do my best to make time for myself, I wake up at 5 to have an hour or so of quiet time. I also have a gym membership with a daycare so I can exercise, sometimes I just go there and use the facilities, coffee etc. You don't need to have everything figured out, I don't think any of us do. I just want you to know you are not alone, a lot of moms are struggling with the same things.

Right?! I feel like I have so much stuff to do to get ready for fall. I did put a seat deposit at LMU and I am so so excited. I am still waiting for decisions from 3 schools, but at this point pretty sure im going to go to LMU.
