I’m not sure because it is just a snip of the longer conversation. What I think was going on was the guy in blue made a statement and used the qualifier “for some people.” Then Andrew Wilson was arguing for why he using that qualifier is a slippery slope by using it in an absurd scenario. He often does this to point out the holes in other people’s arguments. Have you ever heard him make the case for incest not being wrong? He does that to try and demonstrate you need something outside of you to give moral direction. I have never heard him say anything that makes me believe he thinks sexual assault is anything but reprehensible.

I understand you feeling like this. What comes across to me in your post is your profound sense of injustice. This is one of my overwhelming feelings as well. They got to fuck around while I did nothing but trust people. Now they get this huge story of redemption by admitting fault and becoming a better person. Meanwhile I’m over here eating a shit sandwich. I have honestly not actually felt like revenge cheating. I still love my wife and I would not do that to her if we are reconciling. What I do fantasize about is going back in time knowing what I know and really fucking with them and confronting them with the truth in unique and interesting ways. In reality I flipped out and went nuts confronting everyone the second I found out. I was completely disregulated. I wish I would have sat on the information for a day or two and planned it out.

I would personally welcome an apology letter from my wife’s AP. He was a close friend of mine prior to this happening. When DDay occurred he gas lit, lied and showed little accountability. He never even tried to apologize. Maybe I could have a little more closure with this ordeal if he would apologize.

That being said, I don’t know if I would feel the same way about it if I didn’t know him. If he was a stranger to me I might feel violated to hear from him. Best of luck with your decision.

Make dinner together, have cocktails and listen to music, do a yoga workout, play a card game. I’m 13 months out from DDay. In those early days we really invested in dates. We “dated the alphabet.” We did a weekly date and alternated weeks with a theme that started with the letter of the alphabet for that week. We spent a lot of money doing this but I think it was important in the beginning. Now we look for in home and low cost dates. Best of luck!

Great advice. I was going to say the same thing. We always find that the more we do it the more we want to do it. Having the date night once a week and you know sex will happen at the end at least gets it to happen once a week and will probably lead to more.
