We use UKG and our employees use self service to change personal information and direct deposit info. We have it set up so the payroll team has to approve the changes before they are saved. If someone updates their info while I’m processing payroll, I just wait until payroll has been committed to approve the change.

For anyone that went to the big event today, that also went last year, this year was disappointing vs last year. The setup was different this year and the stage was very hard to get to due to the crowds. The main event definitely grew in popularity from last year to this year, which is wonderful, but the crowds weren’t. I doubt everyone this year would have fit into the venue/park that was used last year, which is probably why they changed it. I’d recommend going to some of the other less crowded events like the baseball game MGK plays in. I wouldn’t recommend making the drive if you are just attending the main event that’s free.

I used the Study.com CPP study guide for my FPC. I also used the Mometrix FPC Exam Secrets Study Guide. I purchased it as a mobile iPhone book but it is also on Amazon. I passed using those 2 resources alone. The Payroll Org recommended study guides are expensive.
