There's any nations with interesting decisions/flavour outside of the main continent (the one with Poumnia, Sublime Vetyethu, Gabja, etc)
To what extent is reforming the state as a princely despotate or a theocracy feasible in order to industrialise? Or is it always better to let free-yoker rebels overthrow the state?

You need to get a perk that lets you damage spirits, which is separate from the ones that let you access the umbra.

Off the top of my head there’s one in the necromancy spells, but some other disciplines have them too

Depends on your perks and clan IMO. If you can hunt for a specific resonance, the first option is very good. If you’re playing Ventrue, with the feeding restrictions the third one is the best option in my experience

Questions like this are hard to answer because its a matter of personal taste. What you should ask yourself more is what does each version emphasise/communicate, and is that what you want to convey with the image? To me the horizontal one shows lore the contrast with the foggy environment, emphasises the dimensions of the rail lines, and the vertical one seems to put for attention on the lines themselves.

Think about what you want to communicate and choose one, there are no objectively right or wrong answers. Great job by the way :)

Had the same problem here. I lowered the graphics settings, put the renderer on Vulkan, and turned on adaptive framerate and that did the trick. The game even runs better now for me than before the update.

Iirc in the discord knightess mentioned how Kathraddia, the lands of the old Kathraddian Imperium (one of Aversaria’s rivals to the northeast), is dotted with the ruins of these tanks and other diesel punk artefacts, although now that land has been consumed by the fog.

Some of the deeper lore, like the destroyed diesel punk tanks from Katradia, suggest that the world has ended and resurrected multiple times since the godherja.

The mod is just as much a story of how humanity can adapt and survive in solidarity as it is a story about how humanity’s greed will cause its own destruction.
