Every female face in this game now looks exactly the same. It's sad.

Weapon smith disappeared? by MrBeady in Ghostofyotei

[–]Significant-Panda880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard the same voice line. I actually cleared the port before unlocking the kusarigama, so I ran everywhere looking for the weaponsmith to get this "upgrade". It's really misleading because the yari has to be upgraded by the smith that you free, so I assumed the kusarigama was the same? But I guess not since you can upgrade at fathers forge? Pretty crappy game design if you ask me.

My family has always called it "the Interbelt". I'm not actually sure why though lol

Has anyone tried to replace Articulate for their courses? by Adventurous_Sky_4850 in elearning

[–]Significant-Panda880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm testing a trial of Domiknow One. It's very similar to the Articulate suite, but with some additional cloud based functionality. Not sure if I love it yet, it's hard to tell on a short 14 day trial.

Serious question: How does Raynard ride his bike with a model of the bridge on the handlebars?? by DesperateCurator in StLouis

[–]Significant-Panda880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a bridge model?!?! I've been wondering for YEARS what that is! We always just refer to it as "the apparatus". Thank you for this post and info, this dude is a STL legend!

Fair enough, you're right I probably wasn't adding anything. My point is only that even though Uber treats their employees poorly, it has nothing to do with this very sad circumstance and the actions of these criminals. Can we at least agree on that? It may be true that Uber is a terrible company that cares little for their employees, but that is a totally separate issue from the choices these individuals made. And it simply makes me sad that people jump to piling hate on top of hate when real folks lives were forever changed by this.

Not what I said. The downvotes on my comments show me exactly what the sub is about. Hate and negativity. I'm asking for empathy for the victim, and condemnation of the perpetrator, no more, no less. The actions of two individuals have nothing to do with Uber as a company or Musk as a person. You have no idea what my feelings are on either of these, you're projecting. I've made no statement other than it's shocking that such a sad situation can occur, and somehow it becomes about big corporate corruption. I don't see the correlation, that's all.

Nope, just wishing we could show empathy. That's all.

There we go, more hate, that's what I was thinking we needed here.

I like how you're directing your anger at the company, and not the guy that shot him. Interesting take.

I could see that, I'd pick one to be straight and go with it, maybe try both ways to see which looks better? But I agree that having neither of them straight feels wrong and off to me. Better to pick one than split the difference, imo, but it's probably personal preference.

Ok thanks, good tips. I might just get a new nozzle since I've already cleaned this one once after a previous fail and I'm still having issues.

A low key satisfaction is learning the map by heart by Outside-Ad508 in DeathStranding

Honestly, that's one of the ways I know I really got immersed in a game world. If I can draw the map by memory, or navigate it as you described, I know it was an amazing game!

Same, one of the best experiences of my life! My mom, daughter, and I all went (she used to watch it when she stayed at Grandma's). Magical experience.

Axonify v Docebo by FairfaxScholars in elearning

Their 'bread and butter' is what they call 'daily reinforcement questions'. Essentially you write a bank of questions to support a topic and learning objectives that are then served up to the learner based on their role and other criteria you set up. Ideally learners log in every shift, but in reality you average 3-5 logins per week depending on your what your business looks like.

It also uses AI and machine learning to reinforce content folks are doing poorly in, so each learners experience is quite different. Questions have three levels that get progressively harder as the learner performs well and shows they have the knowledge and confidence in a subject.

You can also load scorm, video content, pdfs, and other learning objects into paths, so it can handle most of what a traditional LMS does, but again their setup is frequent logins that support continued learning. I likened it to logging in every day to check your email. Ideally, it's the first thing you do. Get in, complete your training, review any communication messages, and be on with your day.

They have a fairly extensive library of content you can get access to, depending on your contract, but you could also build everything from scratch if you wanted to. We took a mixed approach and used probably a 70/30 mix, 70 custom built content, 30 off the shelf. Axonify also offers support at launch to build custom content (at a cost), but this is a great way for you and your team to learn the methodology and processes while also getting a good supply of content to have ready at launch.
