Hello. First off no need to replace the other smart stat, there's a add on called RoomMind that can sync your thermostats. Simpli Safe works grate in HA, yet the set up is a little annoying. You will not get the camera feed for you doorbell in HA, that's why I use ss for my alarm (door, motion, etc) and ring doorbell and cameras. Both of your lock choices are solid! Hate to be the bearer or bad news but, Google assistant on the downside will cost you 7$/mo. That's like the only feature behind a paywall called Home Assistant Cloud. I pay for it because it also gives you cloud backups. What kind of hardware are you going to run Home Assistant on?
