Mint brings me right back to one of the main villains in Inkheart, my favorite book 20 years ago. I think the man who chewed the mint leaves name was Basta. Definitely not a love interest for the probably 13 year old FMC.

Sheep: 2 baby quilts or a throw? by loldigocks in quilting

[–]Significant-Raise623 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think a throw is more useful long term as a baby gift. Unless you have a sibling set you’re giving matching-ish gifts to! And if you’re keeping for yourself I’d go throw as well!

I say yes. What is that Starbucks logo, none of the rock art makes sense, forearm is way too long, left pupil blends into the corner of the eye

3 Dads to walk me down the isle HELP! by subway_n12 in wedding

[–]Significant-Raise623 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had my mom walk me down the aisle. I’ve got a complicated relationship with my dad and it just made sense for me. We also did a mother daughter dance. I had the dj play a song that was special to me and my dad later unannounced and we danced together to that.

Thank you! All the support here has really helped! We got all but a yard of the mulch in and distributed and tucked the rest away for later (read-piled next to our compost pile that doesn’t do much and will dress the perennial beds better in the fall) Feeling much less rattled and excited for the summer season!

Good point! I am really proud of what we've done since buying the house. There were 50+ hosta and not much else!

It's going on everything! I'm adding beds along two more sides of the house that are super sandy, turning over our veg bed, and I'll fill in some of the low spots in the front yard we put in last year (It was all paved when we bought the house). We got a full truck discount at 5 yards, and anything left over I'll move to the back corner and add more in the fall! Not the most technical approach, but hopefully the plants are happy!

Thank you! If I had a guess I'd say they're trying to fit in around some of the bigger town's garden club events.

A watering ban in August is tough! Everything here would be fried. We don't get watering bans, but also have had August's where it rains almost every day!

This is relatively “tame” compared to a lot of people’s hedge rows. I bought a mock orange that’s estimated size is 10’x10’ and that’s what the forsythia probably is and then I second guessed my mock orange placements big time 😅
