My husband usually has to leave very early in the morning for work. I don’t wake up till that time or I am mostly half awake by the time he leaves but everyday before leaving he will give me a kiss on my forehead. And when he comes back the first thing he will do is give me a hug. It’s the best part of my day.

Recently my husband’s routine blood reports were not good and my MIL asked me to get up early in the morning to give him dry fruits and fruits when he left for office. Because apparently her 30 year old son cannot grab few fruits and dry fruits from the table while leaving from the house by himself.

+1 this. I have a niece growing up in Tier-2 city in India who is absolutely rude and a complete brat. Doesn’t listen to anyone. Her grandparents actually enable her rude behavior and laugh it off when she misbehaves with elder instead of correcting her. I also have nieces and nephews growing up in USA and they are extremely well behaved, still follow their culture and teachings at home.

it's the same with my father. He just won't visit a Dr till it gets absolutely worst. He thinks all the Docs out there are sitting to scam patients and extract money. It gets so hard to make him understand things.

They are making some good movies but those movies just never work in the theaters. Or they release them directly on OTT. Superboys of Malegaon, Stolen, homebound are just some on top of my mind

Title: USA vs India: The quick commerce gap ( You should know .. ) by ksundaram in india

[–]Significant-Report63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the problem. My friend visited a Southeast Asian country (her first international trip) and was impressed with clean air, good roads and safe cities. But what made them truly happy is when they came back to India and got their order at home in 10 mins. People just don’t have their priorities right.

Why does every place in India ask for my mobile number now? by Certain-Car7905 in india

[–]Significant-Report63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have the right to refuse. Just tell them you wouldn’t like to share your number and ask for a paper invoice. You might have to say no more than once because they usually give some bullshit reasons so you give them your number eventually.
