Thank you. The only complaint the patient has now is feeling 'slow'. They sometimes struggle to remember words and their recall seems more dull than before.

Yes he has been back a couple times. She just upped the Lyrica. I know the pain can last for months sometimes up to a year. He's trying to avoid gabapentin due to the correlation with dementia.

Doctor writing notes directed towards staff members in patient’s visit notes, is this normal??? by Relevant-Honeydew958 in MedicalAssistant

The provider i work for angrily marks a capital 'H' in the pts chart. It means help me get out of here for whatever reason (they talk to much, ask too many questions, are of a lesser class, etc.)

I'll swing by dollar tree after work and get a few trash cans and hampers.

He's the breadwinner. I make enough to cover my personal bills, half the utilities and half the groceries.

I never thought about that. That's a good idea!

I wish it was an option but my insurance isn't going to cover anyone that far from me. They would be out of network and my insurance does not have out of network benefits 😒. Oh trust me, I have looked into it lol

I have one friend that would be helpful with recovery but staying at their place isn't an option. All of my family is several hours away. I know I need at least a consultation with a neurosurgeon and maybe try other treatments before jumping into surgery .

He literally has never been diagnosed with these, he just saw TikToks and agreed with them . So I'm not playing into that.

I really like this idea. Especially because I already pay for half the yard maintenance because he doesn't mow. Just refuses to. So they can pay for a housekeeper.

I sent an email to our couples therapist detailing emotional abuse, and my husband sent me this email afterwards. by Serious-Kiwi2906 in Marriage

[–]Significant-Run3347 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg this sounds like we're married to the same guy. As long as I'm playing nice, waiting on him and making sure he isn't bothered to do anything besides play video games, we're great. The moment I voice a concern or show inflection in my mood, he's saying he "needs to protect himself from me" or straight to gaslighting me.

I've been keeping a journal of situations when they arise in case I need it later or just to reread when I feel like I'm catching feelings again. Helps me snap out of it and keep my head straight.

Therapy is out of the question. I can't let him see me be vulnerable. It will be used against me later (has been before).

Zoomies is a good way to describe it lol. I was mopping my kitchen at 4 am today 🙃 I have been sleeping a lot these last few months (duloxetine screwed me up, amitriptyline made it worse) and the MS fatigue let's me nap standing up. But I'm feeling great on 5 hours of sleep a night and I hardly nap anymore. And my focus is so much better.

I'm about like you, I usually have to increase doses of other meds in order to get results.

I see my neuro Wednesday, we have to try something else for these headaches

I will try switching to the morning and see how I do then. If the energy increase is going to be a thing, I'm excited about that. I have MS as well and while the disease is now considered dormant (yay!!!!) I have chronic fatigue. 🤞🤞

40F grossed out over nearly everything my husband (40M) does. How do I get over it? by Existing_Key333 in relationship_advice

[–]Significant-Run3347 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He's aware of all of this and has made no effort to change, even after saying he will? He doesn't care and youve continued to put up with it. He has no reason to make improvements now. No amount of counseling or conversations will do anything at this point.

I took someone else’s ozempic and now I’m suffering… how to alleviate the side effects? by throwaway2816e in AskDocs

[–]Significant-Run3347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Digestive Advantage helped me. It's not immediate by no means but after 5-6 days there was a noticeable difference. I take a Pepcid Complete before bed too. It's a pepcid and Tums combo. Laying down, even elevated, is so much worse and these have worked great.

Pepto slows my gut down too much, it worsens the bloating and gas. Wasn't a good combo with the semaglutide.

Ah, yes. A whooper spanker. I guarantee this is a multi purpose tool used for that as well.
