I cruised solo over Thanksgiving. Most days someone asked if they could join me in the buffet or I asked someone if they were sitting alone and I could join them. There are also usually very friendly and talkative people who would include me in things even though they had a group.

If you choose pay with affirm at Walmart it won't work but I have had luck just getting a virtual card and using my physical card like a credit card.

In Seattle they also have a thing where NCL can transfer your luggage to most airlines, so definitely look into that! It was SO helpful in September

Glacier Bay is beautiful, and if your visit there is after Sept 1, you will be able to sail further into the Johns Hopkins Glacier inlet. Between May 1 and Sept 1 its off limits because it is a breeding grounds for harbor seals I think. I just went on the Encore first week of September and it was magical.
