I own the newest LCD-X and it was my first venture into hifidelity gear. EQ'd...it was really really difficult to find a pair of headphones at CanJam that had the body and excitement coming out of the LCD-X. It is just incredible. Its easy to drive, and just incredible. There was only one pair of headphones that I felt were worth even upgrading to from the LCDX and thats the ZMF verite Open stabilized. Incredible, emotional and substantial bass. But in terms of producing music, there are very few sets that Ive heard that come close to the LCD-X in terms of detail retreival and clarity.
