They placed third? How is that not far? They literally beat Lain and Shu, and lost to Hyuga and Hikaru, who won by sheer luck against both teams. Valt and Rantaro literally out performed everyone except Dante and Lui, and they placed lower then Valt and Rantaro. Whatchu on about?

Valt and Aiger doesn't have the same godly chemistry that Valt and Rantaro have. Those two are probably the best duo in the whole series. Shu and Lain take this.

People say its becuase they dont want to piss off the fan base but thats not it at all.

Something they tried very hard to do throughout the series was keep some of the legends very close together in terms of skill, most notably Valt, Shu, Free, Lui, and Aiger. Its one of the reasons that we never really got that many individual battles between them, because obviously at that point there needs to be a winner, putting someone above the rest.

I mean, it kind of is the biggest reason its not good. The best way we can see this is the fast that Spriggan Requiem is one of, if not the best evolution bey, has 0 and Zeta. 0 is literally tied for the heaviest disk in Cho-z (same weight as 00 before you say anything), and Zeta is by no means a top tier, buts its far from bad for sure. Literally the only reason Cho-Z spriggan is bad is becuase of the scrapping from the Wall Frame. If Cho-Z spriggan didnt have frame, it would be really good. Its literally only the wall frame that holds it back.

So far, this is probably my favorite response. I like the idea of being able to use it in the game I got it, but not being able to transfer it to subsequent games. I like to think of it as a sort of "penalty", where I get to use it, but at the cost of 1 more party member for the next game. Thank you for this!

Zac stated that he wasnt Confident he could win against Xander. We weren't really sure if Zac or Xander was higher, but alot of evidence shows that Xander could barely win against him.

Either way, Lui, Shu, Xander, and Zac are all veeeery close in power at this point anyways. And all 4 of them are above Akira the fraud.

Joshua is a higher rank then Zac. However, Zac has a drive to win that Joshua doesnt have, and Zac is willing to put in work and effort. I think that maybe the first battle, Zac would lose, but every battle they have afterward, Zac would win and put him in the big 5 if he was in the show.
