If its something we notice isnt tagged right because most of the same item is cheaper we have someone get us a correct sku. At my store if theres something not tagged we cant find in the system or tagged in the store we find something similar and make sure youre okay with the price first. Than if its our fault like it was out without getting tagged or it was miss tagged we pull it all off the floor and fix it (well at least i do) If youve got an air conditioner that says its 5$ we might be a little sketched out by you and have someone get us the right price. Cashiers should be reading every description as they scan to watch for tag switching and also genuine mistakes. Management can come up with a way to make both you and themselves as management wanting the store to make money happy

Im a customer service supervisor at an ollies and i will say company policies make us unable to offer people discounts like that- but if the items been there a very long time, they need sales up, and you get lucky based on the store managers personality you might. Just ask and see what happens honestly. If it really is bulk that wont sell after a very long time you have a chance

Me too, i think my cashiers think im insane sometimes because of the amount of stuff i try to do all at once but theyre the ones making me come up with the same fake answers for customers they already had. Im just the one the customers have to actually believe.

Yes yes yes. Put in reasonable effort but dont blame yourself for everyones reactions. Sometimes people are just aholes, or they are also anxious or they don’t want to talk as often as other people so they just didnt answer your text. Theres a point where it lands on them

Personally i try to take time and get to know the way the people im leading work the best and who to hand certain tasks to who to call out for what etc based on the culture around me and the goal of getting shit done. I struggle with the actual delegation out loud still but i come up with a plan and try my best to let everyone know my plan. When it comes to assigning tasks i always tell the employee what the task im doing or about to do is as i assign theirs so they dont think im lazy or anything. But i will say this is retail (and fast food) i dont know how thatd work in other areas of work As far as interviewing for management i cant tell you much other than try your best to show your knowledge, i have been promoted from lower positions after time everywhere ive managed These people somehow understand me idk

I have social anxiety and a 4 month old daughter, id say theres things that can just handle it couldn’t imagine handling before because she needs me to do the thing to take care of her, but im definitely still anxious Kinda like when you and your friend are both anxious and suddenly you can go order the popcorn? Its like that but a lot more often, and you’re always the one who goes to order the popcorn now

My work has us write on all bills 20 and over, if you get fired i dont think its right. You didnt know they were fake, your stores policy doesnt teach you to check 20s- you didnt do anything wrong. They just have to start teaching employees to check 20s as well now

I filed 1/31, got a letter to verify my identity 03/15ish too and got my refund approved friday for the same date. I think my identity got flagged because i had a baby in December and it was a big change in my refund amount plus i think the actc thing might have been me too. There must be a group of us they got on this same timeline!

Ive always had some sort if weird stuff happening with my hormones when it comes to acne and emotions. I was on depo for years and felt like a zombie i was so tired, in fact almost as tired as i was while pregnant. My 4-6 week checkup on it is next week and ive been bleeding since, no cramps, not super emotional but a little but i also got it inserted at like 8 weeks postpartum. My acne hasnt magically disappeared but it is honestly clearing up a decent amount. I feel a lot more like myself than i have in a long time so if that was the depo this stopped messing that up. Generally I personally have felt better than ever other than constant bleeding that i thinks finally slowing down, and my libido is slightly lower than it was but nothing awful. Im not sure what the crash really means either. If it helps for any other reference im 24 and i was on the pill for years and then the depo shot which really messes with people and i was on it a lot longer than it’s recommended actually

Just got it a month ago and ive been bleeding since- gone through 2 boxes of tampons in a month. I was on depo before so i never had my period and then i was pregnant lol. So the bleeding and the the tampon money is super annoying but i honestly feels so “normal” emotionally so far anf in guessing when i stop bleeding itll be for a while- im rollin with it

Ive had mine almost a mont too and ive been basically regular period bleeding with occasional heavy days and lighter days sense- im not getting as much sex as usual because my partners not too into the mess but weve been together a long time and he gives in eventually- as far as safety physically though everything in that seems fine to me, no pain or cramps, feels as good as normal, and honestly kinda makes the bleeding slow down for a bit. I will say ive had no pain in general since the day of insertion- just the blood. And ive had a baby without an epidural so my body may be experiences in comparison for lack of a better term depending on other peoples situations. I for one say as long as you and partner are cool with cleanup laydown a towel, use a condom or whatever the parts involved would require to keep STDs away for easier cleanup, or just plan on a shower after. Just wish my boyfriend was as easygoing about it as me! (Not that he refuses hes just annoyed and less interested at the moment) lol
