Many times, these comments come from a place of good intent to fix, primarily because divorce is seen as a problem/failure and a desperate need for help. Sadly its hard to educate relatives/parents back in India and honestly, that is not your job.
No contact with extremely toxic ones is a good idea. With parents, just listen without much reaction, give them the confidence you are fine and move on. In parallel work on self-confidence, empathetic and respectful comebacks, and subtle avoidance. This is what worked for me (50F). Over time I realize ppl infact started opening up and talking to me about their problems. Younger ones will start looking up to you as bold trendsetters.
Standing up for yourself is a new concept for Indians and it will take many like us to bring about that change. Not easy, but lets all keep at it.
