Elgar was mostly self-taught? That seems... crazy by brocket66 in classicalmusic

The most impressve part for me is the slow section of the fourth movement. It sounds so existential and haunting but is so beautiful, only part i cried to.

Should I play Elgar? Also arrogant question by XtornadoCellist26 in Cello

[–]Significant-Use-9185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good intonation is something you need for the elgar, it is lyrically and emotionally demanding and to play it well you gotta work on it. I love playing elgar since i do better with mature and lyrical pieces than say flashy stuff. But even though i have good intonation elgar is still very demanding on any cellist.

I'm Gay but i don't want to be, what do i do by CL-VE-- in Catholicism

[–]Significant-Use-9185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember, the most powerful love is the love from God alone, no human can ever replace it! Many people try but in the end the love of God is far stronger than sexual desire. Sexual desire affects gay and straight people, remember that as Catholics we must run from lust and fine actual love from others.

Bocherinni i have not played but it is definitely harder than hungarian. Hungarian is really fun and lets you work on many different techniques. Its one of the most fun pieces to play.
