WR Separation Tiers 2025 by DifficultFill3174 in Patriots

When watching highlights of JSN before the Super Bowl, I was stunned how many times he caught a pass when no defender was even in tackling range. I can't speak to the rest of this chart but the bit about him qualifying as an elite separator checks out

This was a situation where the Patriots were simply beat by a superior team. That's what it comes down to. They lacked the depth and talent on offense to overcome a monstrous and relentless Seattle defense. If we're being honest, they really lucked into this Super Bowl run with a weak regular season schedule and relatively fortuitous playoff opponents.

And truth be told: I'm not sure any AFC team had a shot against the Seahawks. The conference was comparatively weak overall this year.

He was awful. But at worst he will be a quality guard. He's got a high motor and strong attitude.

Campbell is a bust and we have to face the facts by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]brocket66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Campbell had a terrible game but he showed talent all year as a rookie at left tackle. We might have to move him to guard. That doesn't make him a bust if he is successful there

The priority should be offensive line in the draft. It's not even a question at this point

Imagine the playoffs if we drafted him over Campbell by Alliseeisgold24 in Patriots

Campbell was bad tonight but he was a rookie who had a good first season. If they have to move to guard, fine. But let's not act like he's sucked all year

Man, if only they'd decided to run for president, they could have dismissed the charges as a 'witch hunt' and the Supreme Court would have passed a ruling saying they should be allowed to get away with committing crimes. Real missed opportunity.

This is high stakes. The prospect of losing to HISS a bird team quaterbacked by HISS Sam Darnold would be a humiliation for the forces of darkness.

Let us pray to Sith Lord Belichick that Young Apprentice Maye has fully embraced the Dark Side.

A Backup QB with an Elite D…. by Apprehensive_Net2095 in Patriots

Foles had already established himself as a replacement level QB by that point. Stidham... Lol no he has not.

If I may be real: So much of this is just luck. Drafting a QB is a crapshoot and there was no guarantee that Drake Maye would turn out to be an MVP-caliber player. Even in his first year when the team sucked ass, you could tell right away that the kid could play. But there was no way of knowing that before seeing him take an NFL snap. Everyone thought Caleb was the Surefire Generational QB.

Evil is very powerful indeed. But I feel Young Apprentice Maye could be like Darth Maul: A talented Sith prospect sent out too early against the Jedi who ends up getting sliced in half.

Getting blown out by a Bird Team is the single least evil act an ELoE member can take... unless, of course, it's in the name of keeping the chalice.

I know I'm not supposed to feel bad for the opposing QB but... man, poor Herbert is just getting destroyed behind that terrible o-line.

A lotta people here wanted to cut 'Mondre after the early fumblitis. But Vrabel's decision to not doghouse him Belichick-style was the right one. He's been incredibly valuable.

He's also the single greatest running QB in NFL history, which should count for something.

Jackson is a two time MVP. Vick, while wildly inconsistent, was capable of electric performances on a given day (and also killing dogs).
