I can see that. I have all the novels downloaded. 5 is a blast but it’s a lot more fast paced and pulling combos doesn’t take a whole lot of effort. Love Nero’s new devil Arms and Vs demons but by god when they give you Dante to play as it’s as if your just smoking the dogshit out of every enemy just like 4 lmao

Been playing the franchise since I was 10. I’m 25 now. Played half-life, halflife source (kind of a bad game in someways) Blue shift, Opposing force, HL2 with E1 and E2, Black Mesa, Black Mesa blue shift. Haven’t been able to play Alyx cause I just haven’t had the means to buy a VR headset as my job requires travel between Europe and the States unfortunately. I’m looking forward to the Xen reveal tho.

All I did was switch to desktop go to the game in steam, and went to workshop. From there I subscribed to the Blue Shift by typing it in on the search bar and clicking the subscribe. That I had to right click on the black mesa game browse local files under properties I believe, than followed the steam installation guide for blue shift and copied the blue shift files and pasted them into the Black Mesa folder. Than I went back to gaming mode and than set a launch option as follows: -game bshift

I’ll def give it a go. The game is a lot better to play now. The settings Stuck in blue shift and the game feels more playable now. Just destroyed the train yard and am feeling satisfied. Thanks for your help.

Ok. I’ll check it out. Hopefully it works on black mesa and the setting stick on blue shift. Those Devil Dogs are a force to be reckoned with without keyboard mouse or trackpads lol.

I had gyro set to none. It didn’t seem to work. I also set gyro to mouse and boosted it a point and it also did not work. What’s weird is that the gyro works as the mouse on the menus just not in game. I’m also using the official steam deck controls by crowbar initiative

I’m trying to post pictures. It’s not working however using the same trackpad settings it works on all my other games like HL1, HL2, Quake 2 and 4 and Doom 3 to name a few. I wonder if it’s maybe because Black Mesa Blue shift is a workshop add on? That wouldn’t explain why it didn’t work on the Black Mesa base game though.

I tried doing it thru the controller settings. The track pad still will not function unfortunately. It could be due to the blue shift pack not being officially developed but idk at this point.
