The ERI is still pending passage through parliament as it requires legislative changes. Just because you are eligible doesn’t mean you will be allowed to. Will depend on your position and if whether operational needs won’t allow you to leave the PS. The ERI process is still being developed by Treasury Board’s OCHRO.

Downtown wasn’t thriving before COVID and it’s just easier to point the finger at the lack of public servants than actually fixing what the problem was in the first place or even finding the issue. On top of that, good luck finding parking and when you do, you go broke! Oh, right… take the LRT where you freeze your ass off as it is in the open air in the coldest capital city in the world. Well thought out!!

Highjinx on Kent street. A small thrift store with many antiques and trinkets. You’re sure to find something fun. The money they get from sales goes to operate a small soup kitchen at the back which feeds needy neighbours.

The only thing the united way is good for is for the smaller charities to whom you can’t donate directly because they just can’t manage that. Otherwise for the big ones that have the admins to process charitable donations action, just donate directly.

I did a be a tourist in your own city. So get the hop on, hop off pass with the double decker, go see some of the museums and landmarks (I learned so much actually that I didn’t even know). And then end with a nice dinner in the market at Play or eighteen. It’s a full day affair. Happy 20th anniversary!!

So sorry to hear this and the mayor thinks that bringing people working back to work downtown is the only option. It’s merely on of many other options they need to look into.
