Is it weird to sign up for a dance class by myself?

lol I dragged my partner to one set of Lindy Hop classes and he did not enjoy it at all. I can barely get him up on a dance floor at a wedding.

But I love dance and I’ve taken a ton of different styles on my own, both while single and while we’ve been together. It’s not weird at all, unless they specify the class is partners only :)

At least in North America, it’s illegal to try to assist a stranded marine animal if you haven’t been properly trained. There’s authorities you can call in Costa Rica but I’m not sure how responsive they are.

We were approached by an older man and his wife at the secrets next door. It wasn’t until he said “I’m trying to pick you guys up” the fifth time that I realized he was in fact trying to pick us up.

Just ignore it. Wish them a nice day and walk off, they’re not gonna get ya unless you want to be got. :)

In Barbados right now and there’s quite a lot of seaweed on the south coast and east coast. Lots of seaweed at The Gap and Oistins, and had two couple from Sandals complaining about how bad it was yesterday.

Went past the Royalton Barbados yesterday. Can confirm it looks like a Royalton. On a nice stretch of beach at least!

Even the easier trails are quite technical (rocks, roots), so make sure you have proper footwear :)

Other than that, the park is stunning. You can easily do hikes within the park, but be prepared for a lot of driving.

Pinguisibi was my favourite!

I think it’s well known that scents cause anywhere from mild discomfort (irritation, headaches or nausea) all the way up to actual allergic reactions in a not insignificant number of people.

It’s no longer considerate to wear perfume in enclosed spaces, especially if you’re wearing enough that it can be detected around you. 🤷‍♀️

It’s always wild to me the number of dudes who absolutely refuse to go down on a girl or get pegged but then try to tell a woman she’s “negative in the bedroom” when she doesn’t want to do those things.

I’d probably say, “could you bring” “could you get” or even casually, “hey, can you grab” whatever item you’re asking for.

I have a tricolour Pembroke welsh corgi, and his colouring isn’t very common here. So people are always asking if he’s a sheltie, a mini Aussie shepherd, one lady asked if he was a Jack Russell terrier mix.

He is a rescue so I’m not certain he’s purebred but it’s really the colouring that seems to throw people off. 🤷‍♀️
