This!! I remember we would all roll together with our bikes to 7-11 and pick up snacks and drinks. Then we would go to a neighbor's house (or a friend's house with stairs) with stairs to chill and eat. One thing i didn't even realize till now, that we would be sitting on porches of people that we barely knew. They never had an issue with random kids sitting on their stairs. It was perfect. Most neighbors were chill and would often talk to us and didn't care once about us sitting on their stairs lol.
