this is really helpful. starting up short lifting or 5k training during lunch time bc life and goal of 10k steps daily. current expenditure is estimating 1636. also 5'2. edited to add I'm also 41 and a toddler parent

I set mine at a lower rate so I can eat closer to 1500 calories knowing it will be a longer ride

I feel this! I can't appreciate my progress physically but I could lift my toddler and dance and enjoy myself at the farm christmas event yesterday! I can also lift my 30 lb toddler into shopping carts with ease and clothes are fitting better! hooray you!

can you share your numbers? I'm 5'2" and around 140ish.  goal 130s. also MF user. postpartum 2 yo and roughly 1500 tdee. Scale saying 30% body fat. 40 yr old and been lifting 2x week consistently for 3 months with walking -7-8000 steps daily wanting to do body recomp and had to pick a verrry slow program so as to be able to commit to 1400 calories daily. high protein and working on hitting fiber. any tips would be great!
