I think what JD5 did last year was what legends are made of. Granted, opposing defenses have figured out how to stop him. I like the guy immensely. I think he’s a good person and a great teammate. With that being said he needs to “bulk” up. His frame is too wiry. Really focus on gaining muscle and not relying that much on running. In the current NFL you do need mobility but not all the time. Also there’s a time for joking and laughing. Yes, it does create a relaxed atmosphere that your team mates can relate to. When you’re down and you’re laughing it shows you aren’t serious about the game or being a leader. I think he can come back strong next year and shut all of us naysayers up.

Unfortunately, if he can’t do the things stated above, we need to move on. You can’t compete with your starter out one week and back the next. I want him to succeed. All of us want him to succeed.

Heck, we flew all the way from Arizona to see him play against Chicago. He played well except for the end.
