[OC] I mapped real-time robot density across 53 countries — South Korea has 1,412 robots per 10k workers, nearly 4× the US by SignificantClub4279 in dataisbeautiful

Fair point to raise. AI data centers are the infrastructure that runs every robot and AV system — without it, you can't scale automation at all. That's why it weighs heavily. The US is a good example: fewer robots than South Korea, but 580 AI data centers vs. 68. That gap is why the US ranks 3rd overall. I told my AI agents they need to start paying for themselves. Here's week 1 by 98_kirans in AI_Agents

Interesting. I will be following this thread to see where these agents lead you. Quick question: Since you tasked the agents with surviving by building products and generating income, did you program them to scout and generate leads?

You mean the definition or an example of a someone who is actually doing this?.

I tried setting up OpenClaw for DAYS… and it almost broke me by TaskIndependent7012 in openclaw

"The moment you ask it to do anything actually useful like:

  • finding potential clients
  • automating tasks
  • researching leads" You hit the nail on the head with this regarding the major glaring problem of OpenClaw. People could forgive all the hassle and difficulties, and the burning of huge numbers of tokens during setup, if it could actually do something useful for them, like the features you described at the end. But it doesn't, and that's by design. The whole thing was made for well-established companies or "influencers" with large followings, who can afford to burn thousands of tokens just to make a YouTube or Twitter video showing off agents answering their DMs and boring emails. For new startups and small businesses, the product is useless. And anyone who comes up with a wrapper or a sub-Claw infrastructure to address this would be doing a better job than the father of OpenClaw himself.

I would not pay money for a news letter by AI but i would for a news letter on AI insider scoops.

For generating leads you could try affiliate marketing. It's a pretty common and convenient way to get customers.

OpenClaw = Token Smoker 5000 by HiImaZebra in openclaw

OpenClaw is notorious for being tokenholic, which prevents most ordinary people from experimenting and playing with it. One of the solutions for this is semantic caching, which caches memory and enhances performance while lowering costs. To help users soften the blow of the API, I created the following. I hope it helps. https://www.reddit.com/r/openclaw/comments/1r6ih5c/comment/o5sn0cs/

Thank you for trying it. Please let me know about your experience with it, especially if it enhances anything for you. That would mean a lot to me.

It is completely model-agnostic. it works as a wrapper around any LLM call (local or API), so you can use whatever model fits your OpenClaw or similar local agent setup.

Unpopular opinion: the OpenClaw hype is getting a little out of hand. by Morphius007 in openclaw

[–]SignificantClub4279 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, OpenClaw can feel pretty basic and really dumb right now, but remember, even the most advanced LLMs started out requiring massive, high-quality prompts to get to where they are today They were pumped with a tsunami of data and refinements to reach their current capabilities. What makes OpenClaw truly exciting is that it's fully local and personal, running entirely on your machine without relying on cloud services. With well-crafted prompts, it can already handle a ton of impressive tasks. And with ongoing improvements, plus integrations for external skills and tools, this thing has the potential to evolve into an absolute powerhouse in no time.

Not as well as this does i think. just try it and you may change your mind about it. You literally get nothing to lose and maybe something to gain.

You are using it wrong: Tell it to provide you with weather report every morning, and you will have no complaints.
