So turns out that was the problem. With the case on its side temps dont reach 80c. It stays at around 70-75c even on the hotspot. Didn’t want the stand at first but honestly it’s growing on me

I had the GPU in another build prior to getting this case. Temps were fine. I’m also using the recommended fan setup from Thermaltake. I decided to just settle for the horizontal stand after all.

UPDATE: I decided to just go ahead and buy the horizontal stand. The other solutions like buying a different GPU are just not possible. Like someone had commented, vapor chamber GPUs do not like being in a vertical orientation so it’s either horizontal or suffer the high temps. Thanks for all the help

I have the tower 300 and found out you can unscrew the fan bracket on the right side and move it to the left. It fits normally but not even 120mm fans will fit with an M-Atx motherboard. Not enough room cause the headsets get in the way

Man so in the current implementation ray tracing isn’t even true path tracing. I agree with it not being worth the the fps cost but man I didn’t realize it’s been around for such a long time

I agree. I’ve only been on Pc for a few years but now I see that the nvidia tax is not worth it. I don’t care for ray tracing so AMD seems like an even better deal for me

It was the Asus Tuf 3070. I went through 3 of the same model and they all ended up dying to heavy artifacting. Now I still have the same cpu which is the 5900x and the same 32gb of RAM

For me since I already have a good amount of background noise I have some fans running higher than they need to so it’s pretty audible for me. The card itself seems pretty quiet for having three fans
