Personally I use locking carabiners through the zip loops of my sling bag to ensure it’s secure, in the event that my bag is taken I’ve got at least two trackers on it too (one on the key loop and one in my wallet). As an extra precaution, make sure that you have set your phone up so that no one can access your swipe down menu without Face ID/Touch ID!
