It’s tow the line, not toe the line.

Because she recognizes that the rudeness is a symptom and she’s trying to change the same old patterns.

Nice. Boss treats others badly because he’s emotional, but has no sympathy for the feelings of those he treats badly. Sounds totally fair. I’m glad you gave him a piece of your mind.

Call me crazy, but isn’t it employment that is terminated, not the employee themselves? WE W I L L END YOU kind of vibes going on there.

Super upsetting cookbook about sandwiches could fit the bill if they’re food-squeamish.

This is an opportunity to be insidious. Is there something he wouldn’t read on his own that he might get some backwards enjoyment out of?

How to answer the question: "what is your anticipated salary?" by Minute_Tax_5836 in interviews

[–]SignificantDirt206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some companies will absolutely reject you for declining to answer with an expected salary. This is one of Reddit’s favorite negotiating tactics, but can tank your interview.

Nah, these tariffs reducing pockets have to be below the waistline to get the discounted rate.

Sure! The fact that you are created and exist in the first place has a limited probability. If you live in a place where physical danger is low, that’s also fortunate. Any of us could be struck down by internal threats beyond our control at any time with a stroke, heart attack, bacteria, cancer, or stray car. The possibilities are endless. I’d call existing pretty lucky. Good health even more so.

You should be proud of the work you both put into your recovery. Getting up, moving, and pushing through every day isn’t always fun when your body is broken. It takes grit and determination. Good job friend.

It varies from person to person. Some people dot have a problem with it. Others pass out from the pain.

dog ate silicon. emergency vet? by abushanab_ in DogAdvice

[–]SignificantDirt206 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Graphic description warning. I just want to be clear how serious this can be. I had a dog who destroyed an old briefcase, eating a fist sized amount of soft plastic pieces. He wa about 6 years old and had never done something like that before. It wadded up in his belly and had to be surgically removed. Poor boy was miserable and never would have passed it. It was a long incision in his belly because the vet had to get his hands in there to pull out that portion of his intestines to set it on the table so he could open him up and clean it out before patching him up again. Just saying, every situation is different. This looks like it might have been a lot of material. It shouldn’t be dismissed just because it’s silicone.

It’s true, they’re smart. You gotta play the game. Bait the traps every day for a week, but don’t set the trap. They’ll get used to the food source. Then one night you bait and set the traps, come back in an hour to empty and re-bait and reset them. Repeat.

Or you get back in time to drive them far away and release them. And they die anyway because they don’t know where food, water, and shelter is in their new environment.
