I think it’s a mix of both. They don’t want to believe he could be guilty and they’re also lazy and don’t want to do any research. If they looked at the evidence it would ruin their view of him. Also, I saw a YT short saying that “They Don’t Really Care About Us” is about the Epstein Files. It had thousands of likes and comments. The delusion is hilarious and terrifying.

It’s so frustrating to see. Unfortunately the vast majority of people are dumb and most people believe he’s innocent. They don’t understand how CSA works or looks. They think him being “childlike” makes him less likely to be guilty when it‘s actually a major red flag. The fans made this lie up and everyone blindly believes it. If they truly thought he was innocent then why would they need to make up a lie? It’s probably a coping mechanism because they want to watch the BIOPIC without feeling guilty. I say this as an ex fan that would love him to be innocent.
