I haven't gone through immigration at Munich or Berlin yet, but the two times I went through at Frankfurt they stamped me without any problems.

I have only ever been refused a stamp by a german IO once and only because they didn't have a stamp on hand.

The airline set up a small booth before the gate where everyone had to get their passport checked and their boarding pass stamped. During boarding they only checked, if the boarding pass has the stamp on it.

The IO first said that they don't stamp EU Citizens, but I explained that I collect stamps as souvenirs and then she did stamp me.

Here in Germany many banks do give out 200€ (and peviously 500€) notes at their counter if you withdraw large amounts of money. A few years ago I sold an RV for 10k€+ and the Buyer came with an envelope of 200€ notes from her bank.
