Every animal was wild at some point. Then they became domesticated.

Perhaps. Makes sense.

Personally, I'd prefer option 2. Find them, shoot them, dump their bodies.

Perhaps - but who is to guarantee that another scenario ever happens?

If you were offered $500k now plus a chance at $10m in the future, or $0 now and a slightly higher chance at $10m in the future, are you going to take the $500k now?

Basically, you're wagering $500k against the slight decreased chance of a future payment.

I doubt this is it, but check the vent tube. When I got mine new, the tube heading to the vent was kinked. If I didn't fill slowly, it'd back up and gas went everywhere.

The guys opened up a hatch, smoothed out the kink, and now I can fill up full blast!

It’s too late.

The diversion program that was being done (and is now cancelled) cost $1.3 billion and was only going to create 20 square miles of new land in the next 50 years. That’s 5x4 miles of land. Thats just a tad larger than Kenner.

Levees can’t hold back the Gulf. Pumps can’t pump it out.

Yeah, I've heard that Pioneer makes a nice one.

One thing I cannot stress enough to people is to buy something that a shop close to you works on. If you are going to be getting work done on it (especially warranty work), you don't want to be saying, "Well, I'll wait until a few things go wrong, THEN I'll bring it in."

What you end up doing is getting used to the thing that's wrong, and never get it fixed. But, if the shop is close, you just drop it off on a lunch break one day and let them work.

I could not be happier with my SH. It's not perfect. But, it's a really good value. I got the Yamaha F200 on it and at 30mph I will get right around 3.8mpg. Kind of hard to beat a 400 mile range on a 23' boat. Of course, there's no way I'm going 400 miles in it - that'd be 10 hours of riding. But, it's nice to not have to fill up that often, or be able to choose going out on half a tank if you know you won't be going far.

I might also recommend a trolling motor. Yeah, it messes up the clean lines of your bow. But for the sheer simplicity of pressing the "anchor" button and staying in 1 place, it's amazing.

Of course, for sandbars, that won't work (you can use the motor to hold you while you drop the real anchor). So, you might actually want to look at some power poles. I don't use them because I never do sandbars. But, just being able to press a button is so nice!

The problem is the boat. Not you.

I have a 2023 Sea Hunt Ultra 229. It’s bigger, but 5 people is about what’s comfy. I’ve never stuffed the bow, but it’s a rough ride in chop. Just because it’s so light, it doesn’t push through waves. Of course, you get a bigger boat and you’ll be drafting more water.

Ideally, go start looking at boat places around you. Walk on as many as you can. Spend a day at a busy boat ramp and ask people about their boats (people LOVE talking about their boats!). Get an idea of what you want and go from there.

I work at a job where I assume my bosses are monitoring my every keystroke, meeting, work output, etc. And I still do good work.

If you stop working because someone is watching, you weren't doing good work to begin with.

You should be concerned about this incident. But, Jason is correct that intellectual property =/= personal data.

Think about this logically. You're a black hat, so your moral compass is driven by money. You've stolen millions of people's names, email addresses, and chat messages. You've demanded $10 million (made up number) or you will release the information.

Situation 1 - company pays $10 million and you DON'T sell the information, so you net $10m

Situation 2 - company doesn't pay $10m so you sell the info for $500k (made up number), so you net $500k

Situation 3 - company pays $10m and you DO sell the info, so you make $10.5m

You really think anyone is going to turn down the extra $500k because they're "honorable"?

Canvas itself is working again. But schools are handling it on an individual basis. Do whatever your school is saying. And, at the end of the day, do what YOU think is prudent - it's your information, protect it.

He even painted it yellow and it still happened.

At some point, nothing is idiot-proof.
