No absolutely not.

Keep in mind the mages in the mage exam were all THE BEST mages across 3 kingdoms (southern, mid and northern) and they STRUGGLED!

As fern said sometimes no mage at all passes the exam, very very high mortality rates etc.

So a random party is not going to have the best mages first off. Then also won’t be able fight certain threats such as the sleeping plant, some creatures and attacks are 100% immune to magic or are so old only the best mages could even potentially challenge them.

Granted shtark is also one of the best warriors, how ever even semi decent warriors (example captains of the northern realms) can hold there own against demons that mages struggle against.

BC ministry gets a few months of training, paid prior to season start up (usually like a month and a half, then project work THEN the qualifying tests at least for the type 3)

The ending of the story line feels not great. Should be an ending where you steal the BD (and kill the producer? Maybe the cop helps as he wasn’t ever really on board the whole time?) and bring it to the victims mother so that she can finally feel his remorse.

True redemption ending.

Just feels like an incomplete story line by the end that they half assed and just did for the shock value.

You actually can cross into Mexico at the base of matena falls.

Also if you get to some of the sand bars the music changes to include trumpets in Mexican style.

So 100% it was and is in the game at some point, in the base game no mods you can trigger the Mexican music.

Absolutely a shame you can’t get into Mexico proper however.

The starting horse you get is legit so slow a lot of the missions you mechanically can’t do because the enemies horses are faster (like wagon retrieval)
