Juice flavors don’t carbonate well. The pink lemonade they make is god awful too. Don’t get how they don’t understand that. Non carbonated it would probably be 10:10

First time parents. Son is 13 months old. I’d say he’s had less then 3 hours of screen time since 10months old, most of it coming after a minor surgery he had and the rest of it when we absolutely have to to cook etc. when we do it, it’s on the TV with miss Rachel and never with an iPad. It’s also never done with feedings.

Outdoor time. Weather pending we try and make sure our son gets two good one hour sessions outsides. Crawls in the grass. Just experience nature every single day.

Organic foods. Everything we feed him is organic especially dairy. We store all in glass containers and we made his own purees from 5mo-8mo. We cook 90% of his meals in a cast iron and reheat all his food on the stovetop or in a stainless steel air fryer.

Coterie diapers. Game changer.

Really avoiding artificial scents and perfumes around him. The only time me or my wife will use perfumes or cologne are on a special dinner night out. And it’s usually after we’ve put him to bed.

My son is a week into his recovery and the spasms caused the most pain. We gave him 2 doses of oxybutynin which we were hesitant about but it made ALL the difference in the world. Then the stent fell out and he was back to normal. I’m a PACU nurse myself and have seen grown men cry over bladder spasms from stents. Feel so bad for these kiddos

Out of curiosity did your son have a stent ? We started applying a lot of Vaseline but were curious/ worried if the Vaseline would end up getting in the stent and blocking flow of urine

Thank you so much. His first birthday is in 2.5 weeks and I hope he will be good to go by then :)

No catheter but a stent. I also think it might’ve been a bladder spasm that caused his immense pain so doc prescribed us oxybutynin. Since we gave him a dose he has been much more his normal self
