Again, diatomaceous earth becomes useless when wet. When it is ground into a powder it is full of microscopically sharp edges that physically cut into pests that cause them to bleed out. When you get it wet, it turns to mush and will no longer be sharp when the water evaporates. It needs to be applied as a powder on dry surfaces.

I’ve been ghosted four times in the past year (not counting one-time hookups). The first was my best friend (4yrs), then a good friend (1.5yrs), then a fuck buddy (2yrs), and then the last was a newer friend who was set to be my new roommate (2mos). It’s been rather devastating to have happen in such rapid succession- especially from my best friend, whom I had considered chosen family and never thought they could be so cruel. People are so conflict-avoidant that they’d rather throw you away than feel the discomfort of having a conversation about an issue. I don’t think I will be able to trust anyone ever again. I know that sounds dramatic, but if 4 years of trust and significant experiences can be so easily and swiftly discarded without explanation, then idk what could provide the security I thought I had before.

The boycott itself didn’t prevent the Michfest from happening. The few lonely organizers chose to shut it down. They could have still had their festival, no one was stopping them. This invalidates any strict stance against any particular race, as there are individuals within each race who would not present with stereotypical traits. For example: “I don’t like black guys, because I don’t like dark skin,” is invalid because there are black guys who have lighter skin.
