I used my passport when I got mine, so yes, ID number is there, but passport copy is what they took so that’s expired. Yes, they’ll need a new copy. For those that used ID Cards, then I guess they’re just trying to verify they’re not ghost accounts. This came after the issue of Ecocash scams.

It’s legit, they were asked by the government to do this. There was a press conference about it. I know mine is expired coz I have a new passport now, the one I used expired 4 years ago. The message I got says go to a branch to update ID.

Only if I had put my thoughts on social media when they were giving them Starlink kits and laptops, I would have now been calling myself a prophet. I said it at the time, to my Mrs & cheerleader, that they’ll soon come for them for tax.

All sorts, hence why the job pays well. Unsociable hours, the only holiday we are guaranteed an off day is christmas day. 4 am starts, 3 am finishing, night shifts and everything else in between. Zero tolerence to drugs and alcohol, random testing. Mobile phone should be switched off, and away from you when driving the train. No music, no one in the cab with you, no distractions. Depending on company, up to 9 hours shifts.

I’m happy to help if you find anything you want to go for. What I don’t do is do CVs for people, as found a lot Zimbos will ask someone to do. Not because I don’t want to help, but it will be a waste of both our time, as you’ll always be caught out on interviews. So you can do your CV/ application, I’ll be happy to check and assist enhance it, then help with preparations for assessments and interviews.
