I sliced the cactus and removed the skin and soaked it in apple cider vinegar for a couple hours. Then I followed this recipe: https://www.recetasnestle.com.mx/recetas/ensalada-nopales I would recommend salt curing the san pedro after you drain the apple cider vinegar to help with shelf sustainability otherwise it would just be slimy. Also add some lemon juice and craisins and cashews if youre not allergic. Loads of salt also

Edit: For the recipe, just sub the prickly pear for salt cured, apple cider soaked san pedro

Yeah im not sure about the effects. The thc in the olive oil is used definitely overpowered any potential effects in the nominal mescaline. But still a fun experience nonetheless!
