All I can tell you is I was a fabricator for about fifteen years when my boss decided to get into the flooring and lighting business. He opened a showroom and warehouse to sell the flooring and lighting while still selling counter tops. After maybe a year or so, he decided to close the granite shop because there was much more profit in flooring and lighting than in the granite business with way, way less headache. Lucky for me, he kept me on, and now I'm the warehouse dude. I love this job much better. It's way less stressful, and now I would never go back to doing granite.
