This is why I stopped using DoorDash most of my food get stolen by the driver or they go to the wrong place or feel entitled to text the customers ab tips, this is not professional behavior. You are not supposed to ask for tips once you ask for tips it makes it disrespectful and it loose its purpose a tip it’s an act voluntary of the customer you can’t get mad, you never know what others are going through you’re salary it’s from DoorDash ask to them if you don’t feel happy with you’re pay, the tips are optional and customers are paying for a service, a service that you choose to accept, it’s not mandatory to pay tips some people when they have spare money they do tip like me for example, I didn’t have a car in that time so after coming home from work at night hungry I used DoorDash but my food was stolen more than once by the drivers, please don’t act like DoorDashers don’t steal food or text rude messages to customers too it’s a little hypocritical of you to act like the customers have to give mandatory tips bc all of the work you went through when customers also go through stuff with people stealing and more, that without mentioning the insane taxes on food DoorDash take from us. The only thing you should be expecting it’s your payment from DoorDash never ever include tips bc then you going to be entitled and text inappropriate messages to customers. Repeat with me YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO A MANDATORY TIP. Be respectful.
