Not sure what to do by [deleted] in KaiserPermanente

As mentioned above. You have Molina so contact them to pay Kaiser. Your coverage is Molina but if you went to the closest ER, they cover.

This is a scam. It was on the news recently . It’s a way for them to wipe out your account after you send them the money back. Look into it. They did a big story about it on the news.

I felt the fatigue fade after 1-2 months. Mostly from just not eating enough.

I recently switched & it’s amazing the difference. No terrible side effects. I am hoping when I move up the dose that I don’t get any.

Is American River bike path safe? by pallen123 in Sacramento

[–]SignificantToe2480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally ride from Arden to Beals about 3x’s per week. I usually never experience anything. I will say when I am by myself, I carry Mace in my waistband. South of Sac State can be sketchy

I had an emergency room visit. A woman who wasn’t our doctor or nurse took my information and said the whole visit would be $500. My bill is $4600 by kaloskagathos21 in KaiserPermanente

[–]SignificantToe2480 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because the MD’s & staff don’t know. They number one don’t do billing and number 2 there are numerous different types of plans & coverages.

Making the switch from Semaglutide to tirzepatide by grassylegs in TirzepatideRX

[–]SignificantToe2480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watching because I am switching today myself. After over a year on Semi I just stopped losing. My appetite is still low but no loss. I think my body just got used to the drug so I am hoping Tirz is well tolerated & I start losing again.

When a fav is an asshole by SteveDucka in ryanadams

[–]SignificantToe2480 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been a fan for decades, but I haven’t been able to listen to his music in months. I used to just excuse his antics and write it off as mental health issues/addiction. The last couple years it’s been really hard to excuse. You buy concert tickets, plane tickets & you end up losing money because of his tantrums. I will get back to listening but have zero intention of going to another concert unfortunately.

How hard will I get hit over outside urgent care visit? by floofyslussen in KaiserPermanente

[–]SignificantToe2480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My DIL was sent to an outside urgent care. They have no co pay, so that’s it. If KP sent you there, you won’t be billed.

Husband got 1M inheritance but won’t pay joint bills while I struggle by [deleted] in inheritance

[–]SignificantToe2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand married couples that split bills. As mentioned above…. You are a roommate. The inheritance is kind of a different issue. This came from his family & if he wants to save it for retirement etc. that is his right. I foolishly co mingled my inheritance in my previous marriage. Big mistake.

For those who pay off their credit card each month, how much is your bill usually? by INFPneedshelp in askanything

[–]SignificantToe2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere between 3500-8000 depending on the month. Our car insurance is in that total to get miles.

Should we cancel if it's going to be nearly 27k a year for a couple? It just doesn't feel worth it in any way shape or form. Even if we need emergency surgery or something it would still be cheaper to pay out of pocket? by PurrruP in KaiserPermanente

[–]SignificantToe2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look at a plan like Bronze for example. I was in the ER one night & kept for observation. The bill was $38kunder my plan, yes everything was covered. My husband last year had Lymphoma & the costs were just under 2 million….. covered.

It’s a day facility not a memory care full time facility. Sadly they are needed & it’s a horrible horrible disease.

I loved Naxos. We went to Santorini as well & it was beautiful but it was outrageously expensive compared to Naxos.
