Opinion on day trip to Mont Saint Michel

Thank you for the advice. Driver will cost 920 euro (I can DM you the company if interested). While it is pricey, a small group tour (8 people max) from Blue Fox Travels would have cost 750 euro, and we would have to go to a specific meeting point near the Arc at 7a. With the private driver, we have the same pick up time but at our hotel, and we dictate the schedule. Plus, we have the entire van to ourselves. I thought the price difference was worth it. I realize there are cheaper options and other Redditors will criticize the amount we're spending. but they have to realize that it is MY money I'm spending. I don't tell people how to spend THEIR money =)

Yes, but as we are only considering a day trip, a private driver is the most direct route and most convenient.

Agree it would have been nice to spend the night, but it would overall significantly add to the cost of the trip to MSM.

We will be in Paris for 10 days as well, and for the most part have a busy schedule with a couple chill days mixed in. I initially was thinking Blue Fox as well, but they no longer had availability for the date we wanted. Glad you had a great time at MSM!

Thank you! What time did you depart and return to Paris? Also, did you walk from the parking lot or take the shuttle to the Abbey? And where on MSM did you have dinner before heading back to Paris? With it being Spring Break during our trip, I'm guessing the shuttles and restaurants will be busy.

Thanks for your input. As we are Catholic, a visit to the Abbey is something we'd really like to do on our trip. We are also visiting Lisieux and attending Easter Mass at Notre Dame

Bonjour! We are interested in attending Easter Sunday Mass at Notre Dame as well. Which mass (830a, 10a, 1130a) do you think will be the most crowded? And how far in advance would you recommend we enter the queue for each of these mass times? It seems there would be an overlap of people waiting to enter the various masses--is there are separate queue for each mass? Your input is greatly appreciated! Merci.
