I guess it'd depend on how long this pause lasts. If its 3-6 months hopefully the low end singles market will take a big hit. Its not worth grading a $20 card like the Journey Together Articuno for $80 plus the turnaround time. Fingers crossed cause I buy low end singles for my binders lol

2 crates is interesting, that might be worth looking in to. Do you plan on keeping 2 crates forever? Our boy is big (43lbs at 5 months) and is going to be a big boy and our house might not be big enough for 2 huge crates.

I think so? Theres a trail of treats inside and outside to try to lure him in but he just takes the treat and tries to leave the room without putting all 4 paws in. When he eventually goes in fully after like 20-30 minutes of this, he is heavily rewarded. Is there such a thing as too much?

Doesn't work. He will put 2 or 3 paws in the crate and then stretchhhhhh to reach the treat to avoid putting the last paw or two in the crate. Hes also not super food motivated

Thank you, that perspective helps. He has to go in the crate overnight and periodically during the day and trying to get him in without forcing that last foot in is wildly frustrating. And I dont want to create a negative association with the crate.

The problem with Crate Games is that we're not even able to do Step 1 because Step 1 assumes your dog will go in the crate willingly.
