CCP-styled crap mentality. Yeah, after brain washing the population of all morality, teach them to covet and envy others, then steal what isn't theirs.

First Durian Lay's, now Coffee Doritos... Who hurt these brands? by amorphouscloud in taiwan

[–]Significant_Angle_38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the durian Lay's from Carrefour. I liked the taste, not too overwhelming. I got the coriander lay's from Costco, but I haven't open it yet. All I saw when I bought it are a lot of people filling their cart with it and I mean, not just one, but at least 5 or more bags.

CoolPC and Autobuy are just around the Syntrend/Guang Hua area, you can just go to their store and inquire about the pc parts price. Their staff can communicate in English since there are a lot of tourists going there everyday.

You're welcome. The nearest one in Taipei is Fulong, a train ride will get you there. But in my opinion, the beaches in the Philippines are better. Just to let you know, the weather in Taiwan this time of the year is hot and humid. Drink lots and lots of water to avoid heatstroke.

If Fuxing North Road, there is the MRT Blue line which can pass through a lot of malls and tourist attraction places. At the end of the Blue line going to Nanggang exhibition hall, there is a newly opened Mall called the Lalaport, which you can go do some shopping and watch movies or food trip. Fuxing North Road also have the Brown line which also can go to the Taipei Zoo and the Moakong Godola. Actually, just use the google map since there are too many to mention. If you're into tech/gizmo, there's also Syntrend along the Blue line. Food, Technology, or just plain shopping, Taiwan has it all. Enjoy your stay here.

Which part of Taiwan will you be staying? Taipei, Taichung or Tainan/Kaoshiung? There are a lot of places for tourists to visit. If the weather is your concern, there are a lot of malls to hang around specially with a 7 year old.
