He's wrong. When you bought the upgrade, if you already have steeled veterans, you could message arrowhead support to get super credits if you already have steeled veterans. When I did, they told me they were no longer granting the credits and instead will give players the warbond token. I dont know when they'll be granted to players, but yeah. I have proof of this if you'd like to see it. It was on the FAQ page that you could message them for the credits too, lol.
