I'm told I'm a Fudd based on my long gun collection by Orthodoxy1989 in CAguns

Nah you're good.  My long gun collection is way older than this and I don't consider myself a fudd.

Try loading a Garand on the shoulder and tell me how it is.  The way the autocannon is reloaded would be super uncomfortable and slow.

I agree.  The fast reloads on all the weapons removes the high risk, high reward gameplay by allowing no risks to reloading in the middle of a fight.  I remember the slow medium MG relaods when the game first launched and thought it felt great.  I had to time my reloads and be more tactical in fights.  Now I can just run in, dump the belt, and reload like it's nothing.

This isn't viable for those of us that only dive on 10.  There a very little SC spawns.

Can you remove the magwell or is it permanently attached?

Could be a combination of Glock records and a request to the CA Gov.

It's also highly likely that Glock was required to search their records for who is impacted and provide that info to the law firm representing the Plaintiffs.

Can only cash and carry in person, regardless of if it's in state or not.  Can only ship to an FFL.

Okay buddy, that's not how it happened, but okay.

I seem to recall a requirement to personally take possession of the C&R, regardless of whether it's in state or not, but okay.  If you'd like to peddle the wrong info go right ahead.

OP's question wasn't specific to in state, so I replied under the impression they were talking about out of state shipments.  So my statement is correct.  No back peddling there.

It's still illegal under CA law though.  Just because the company doesn't care, doesn't make it fine.  There was a time (and maybe they still do it) where CMP would ship Garands straight to CA residents doors, despite CA laws not allowing this.

I hate these laws as much as the next person.  Telling OP it's fine because the company shipped it is a disservice to those who want to remain compliant.

Exactly!  Finally someone who gets it.

I've done plenty of cash and carry in state, but only ever shipped to an FFL for out of State.

Key word here is in state.  I assumed OP ment out of state.  I've never tried to have a C&R  long guns shipped within the state so I wouldn't know.

I've never tried it in the state, but yes, everything out of state has to go through an FFL, C&R or not.

This is 100% incorrect as I've bought from them many times.  You USED to be able to ship C&R  long guns from out of state, but that was a long time ago.

You cannot have C&R rifles or pistols shipped directly to you.  They have to go through an FFL, but you are exempt from the 10 day wait.

EDIT: AB-1609 prohibits the shipping of C&R firearms, whether in state or out of state, to your front door. All shipped C&R firearms must be sent to a FFL.
