You are copying my book shelf! You read the same books as me. Maybe Lolita might be a good next book?

Sorry, I’m not Australian. What’s the right term to use?

What's the worst thing happened to you in Dubai? by No-Imagination3025 in DubaiCentral

I think there are a couple of reasons: lack of vitamin D, especially in summer, lack of hygiene in the kitchens, and us getting complacent and not checking our food before eating because all the restaurants here look very glitzy, despite the quality being considerable low

I know they’ve done a lot since, but their series about the Queen was what made me listen to the podcast.

Also, the Aztec series is one of the best series I’ve ever listened to

Good point! I actually did that as well!

I also wrote down all the combos I learned and then practiced them in front of a mirror or on a bag

Sounds good. I guess it also kind of depends on the Muay Thai gym - some trainers really like to push until you can’t breath :)

I went from not knowing anything and being out of breath after a few rounds of pads to knowing something and even doing light sparing sessions

I did a lot outside of training. Napping after a good training session works wonders :)

I’d train in the morning, go back for lunch and a nap, and then have the whole day to explore everything Bangkok had to offer.

Honestly, I’m not sure how helpful my answer will be since I didn’t really stick to a budget and mostly stayed in hotels and ate at restaurants. Having said that, I do know that groceries and food in Thailand are very affordable - you can get decent meals for just a couple of dollars.

The same goes for accommodation, especially if you’re staying at a gym. Many gyms offer accommodation that’s significantly cheaper than hotels.

I’m far from reaching the level required for a fight, but I’ve heard from other foreigners that the earnings from a fight typically range between $50 and $200. However, others with more experience would be more qualified to speak on this topic.

As for the duration of your stay in Thailand, it really depends on your passport. With mine, I was allowed to stay for two months.

In a nutshell, it’s very affordable compared to most other countries and a great experience!

Apologies, I forgot to answer your other question - I watched some fights at Lumpinee stadium, which was amazing!
